Bob Brown passed away on January 10, 2012 at age 75 from complications from cancer. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 12 at 1pm at Weinstein Family Services, 111 Skokie Boulevard in Wilmette. Because the burial will take place in New Jersey, Shiva will be held on Saturday, January 14 from 5:30pm-9pm and on Sunday, January 15 from 2pm-9pm at the home of Deane Brown and Steve Eisenstein, 1353 Lincoln Avenue South in Highland Park. Shiva will also be held on Monday, January 16 from 6-9pm at the home of Mike and Jennifer Brown, 921 Chaucer Way in Buffalo Grove. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to either the Bob Brown Scholarship Fund, care of Randy Steen, Northern Officials Association Treasurer, 2157 N. Dogwood, Palatine, IL 60074 or the American Cancer Society.
